Jessie Clark Funk .
So my really great friend Jessie Clark Funk called me a couple weeks ago and asked me if I’d be willing to sponsor her for the Mrs Utah Pageant and shoot some headshots for her. I jumped on this opportunity and was honored that Jessie asked me. Jessie is the sweetest lady ever and is amazingly talented. A couple weeks ago my best friend Rachael of Photography by Rachael asked me to shoot some headshots for her. I was more than happy to oblige. We went up to the Ogden area and shot a couple quick shots. Don’t you think she resembles Sarah Jessica Parker? 
She get’s that comment a lot.
Full Day Wedding Workshop 2/20/2010
On Saturday I hosted another full day wedding photography workshop in Utah for some very awesome photographers. I always enjoy teaching the workshops and helping other photographers advance their businesses and teach them the tools to save time and build confidence. We had quite a mix of photographers this time. We had Christina and Stefan of Patchwork Photography who drove down from Montana, Kristen of ~K~ Photography who drove from Wyoming, and Lisa of Bella Photo based here in Utah. We started out with a little classroom instruction in the morning, then did a live shoot in the downtown SLC area. Special thanks to one of my new interns Sarah for coming down and assisting with lighting, as well as our smokin hot models Shanda and Randy. After the shoot we finished the evening with going over the post processing workflow. I was blown away with some of the shots my students got and I can’t wait til they post them on their blog for you guys to see. Here were some of my favorites from the day.

Music Video Mondays . Set The Fire To The Third Bar by Snow Patrol
I first heard this song in the Dear John trailer and immediately fell in love with it, purchased it, and have listened to it over and over and over. I have always been a huge fan of Snow Patrol, they write some of the best loves songs hands down. I took Tiffany to see the movie and I personally loved it. Enjoy.
Adam and Lizzie Wedding
So back in November Adam and Lizzie got married and I was the lucky photographer Adam is an awesome photographer like myself and owns Amped Photography here in Utah. He took my full day wedding workshop last May. Some of you will remember when he proposed to Lizzie and their engagements. Their wedding was held in Lizzie’s grandparents home in Salt Lake City Utah and it was an absolutely breathtaking home. It was very elegant and I felt as if I was walking an art museum with all of the pillars and beautiful art hanging on the walls, not to mention hand painted murals. Grand spiral staircases and beautiful stone. Lizzie’s dress was from my absolute favorite bridal dress boutique in Utah, Alta Moda. The dress was a surprise to Adam, and due to timing, we had to do their formals before the ceremony, so I was able to capture the first look when Adam saw her in it for the first time Those photos are 7, 8, 9, and 10 below. After the ceremony, their reception was held immediately after at Epic Casual Dining. Special thanks to my wife Tiffany for coming along to help out and to Heidi Walker of Heidi J Photography for coming to second shoot, I can’t wait to see the images Heidi got. I apologize about the massive amount of pictures here, but they were all so beautiful I couldn’t resist sharing
Full Day Wedding Workshop 2/20/2010
Some of you may have missed my announcement on Facebook, but I will be hosting another Full Day Wedding Workshop in Layton on 2/20/2010. This is my first workshop of the year and seats are limited to 6 people. There are still a few seats available.
This workshop is geared towards those just starting up their businesses and those who struggle with nailing down a fast workflow. It’s an all day workshop and meals are provided. We also do a live shoot in the afternoon and then come back to go over workflow.
MOST importantly, half of the workshop profits will be donated towards my marathon fundraising goal that funds the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
