Allie and Robert Engagements . Salt Lake City Utah Library

So on Tuesday I had the great pleasure of shooting an engagement session at the Salt Lake City Utah Downtown Library for Allie and Robert. Allie is great friends with one of my past brides Whitney whose wedding I shot up in Logan at the Riter Mansion. Allie works for Studio Bliss at Image Studios and does amazing lash work, so if any of you ladies out there are looking for some awesome lash extensions hit her up allie.studiobliss@gmail.comwink wink. Robert works for a BMW dealer and sells Beamers, you guys should’ve seen his sweet red BMW that he drives around. Since it was so cold outside, we started out inside the library then took a couple more outdoor shots at the city and county building, then finished off up at the Utah State Capitol. I would honestly have to say that engagement photography is one of my favorite parts of my job. It’s when you get to first really know your couple and spend time together. They are so fun to shoot. Anyways, here are some of my favorites from the session.

Funk Family 2011 . Layton, Utah Scenic Session

I’m loving this awesome scenic family photography session I did for my dear friend Jessie Funk and her family in Layton, Utah. Her poor little boy wasn’t feeling well for the shoot but towards the end of the session we ended up getting a couple of smiles out of himIf you guys aren’t familiar with Jessie Funk, you should check out her website. She is an amazingly talented singer and an inspirational speaker. She is one of the most down to earth and sweet persons I know.

Lindsey Class of 2012 . Layton, Utah Senior Session

Meet Lindsey, Class of 2012. We shot Lindsey’s senior portraits around various urban and scenic locations in Kaysville and Layton, Utah. I always love shooting at the green door by the Kaysville Theater. That area has so many cool spots to use. After shooting in Kaysville we headed out to west Layton to shoot at the Jensen Nature Center. Look at how amazing Lindsey’s eye color is. Here are some of my favorites from the session.

Soraya Senior Session . Layton Utah

I am loving all of the senior sessions I have been shooting lately. Soraya was so nervous when we first started shooting but after I showed her a couple of the pictures I took of her on the back of the camera, she totally relaxed and became confident. She totally rocked the session and is such a gorgeous girl. Look at how great her smile is and how well she can pull off the serious faceI love shooting in Layton, Utah and the fact there were still some fall colors left when we shot.
