Allie and Robert Engagements . Salt Lake City Utah Library

So on Tuesday I had the great pleasure of shooting an engagement session at the Salt Lake City Utah Downtown Library for Allie and Robert. Allie is great friends with one of my past brides Whitney whose wedding I shot up in Logan at the Riter Mansion. Allie works for Studio Bliss at Image Studios and does amazing lash work, so if any of you ladies out there are looking for some awesome lash extensions hit her up allie.studiobliss@gmail.com wink wink. Robert works for a BMW dealer and sells Beamers, you guys should’ve seen his sweet red BMW that he drives around. Since it was so cold outside, we started out inside the library then took a couple more outdoor shots at the city and county building, then finished off up at the Utah State Capitol. I would honestly have to say that engagement photography is one of my favorite parts of my job. It’s when you get to first really know your couple and spend time together. They are so fun to shoot. Anyways, here are some of my favorites from the session.

I’m loving this awesome scenic family photography session I did for my dear friend Jessie Funk and her family in Layton, Utah. Her poor little boy wasn’t feeling well for the shoot but towards the end of the session we ended up getting a couple of smiles out of him If you guys aren’t familiar with Jessie Funk, you should check out her website. She is an amazingly talented singer and an inspirational speaker. She is one of the most down to earth and sweet persons I know.

Lindsey Class of 2012 . Layton, Utah Senior Session

Meet Lindsey, Class of 2012. We shot Lindsey’s senior portraits around various urban and scenic locations in Kaysville and Layton, Utah. I always love shooting at the green door by the Kaysville Theater. That area has so many cool spots to use. After shooting in Kaysville we headed out to west Layton to shoot at the Jensen Nature Center. Look at how amazing Lindsey’s eye color is. Here are some of my favorites from the session.

I am loving all of these senior sessions I have been photographing lately Tonight I shot senior portraits in Layton, Utah of the ever so gorgeous Bre. We shot at Layton Park and some places out in West Layton. It was so fun, Bre’s mom, grandma, and sister came along. How amazingly gorgeous are her blue eyes. Hope everyone had a great Halloween. Here is a little highlight video of the fun night we had trick or treating and stopping by a trunk or treat. I shot the entire thing on my iPhone 4s with the 8mm app and edited it on the iMovie iPhone app while Tiffany drove the kids around. Had such a blast shooting this adorable family at some of my favorite scenic spots in Layton, Utah. Fall is my absolute favorite season and family pictures are so awesome in such a setting. I love the outfits and I gotta tell ya, these children were so awesome to photograph. The mother Stacey is the sister of one of my favorite grooms Branson who married Shannon last year. I was so excited when Stacey emailed me about doing their family pictures. These guys have been married 11 years now and what a hot couple that makes adorable offspring. It seems like just yesterday that I was shooting a senior photography session for Jackie, and now she is getting married to a most awesome guy named Brent We shot at various locations in Urban downtown Salt Lake City Utah and went for more of a vintage feel since she has a great love for all things vintage. They met at BYU in the singles ward and are getting married in December at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. I can’t wait to shoot bridals next month. Here were some of my favorites from the session.
