Carly and Tanner will be getting married in July at the Red Butte Gardens in Salt Lake City, Utah. I can’t wait to do their wedding photography. I really enjoy being their wedding photographer because every time we shoot together you can just feel the love between them It shows in the pictures too just how much these guys were meant to be together. I loved the yellow tie that Tanner was sporting. We shot the groomals at Red Butte Gardens and it was absolutely gorgeous there. Below are some of my favorites from the session

So I normally try to blog in chronological order and I still have so many past shoots and weddings to share with you guys, but I was a little bit too excited to wait any longer to show you this session I shot. Meet my new intern Stephanie of Stephanie Patterson Photography who came down from Idaho to intern with me for the summer. I have always loved and been a huge fan of Alta Moda Bridal which is the absolute best place in Salt Lake City Utah to buy designer wedding gowns and dresses like Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier, Augusta Jones, Anne Barge, and many many more. Hilary and Justin (the owners) are some of the coolest people I know and the service they provide to brides is next to none. If you want to be treated like a princess and have the best experience ever, head down and pay them a visit.

Anyways, I have been wanting to shoot one of their dresses for a long time so I could donate a huge canvas print to hang on the walls, so we set up this amazing bridal session and Stephanie was kind enough to model for it. We even got Flavia and Rachel of Versa Artistry to come down for some hair and makeup, and man did they totally do a killer job. Stephanie looked absolutely breath taking in the Monique Lhuillier wedding dress. It’s pretty much the dream of every Utah Wedding Photographer for their brides to wear a dress from Alta Moda Bridal and this dress was no exception. I was joined on this session by some of my good photographer friends Samantha of Samantha Jane Images, Andrea of Andrea Hanks Photography, and Blake of Photo54.com and we had a hoot hollering good time.

I would love to hear your opinions in the comment field about which shot is your favorite as I think we will all have a hard time narrowing it down to one 30×40 canvas print. Maybe your votes will sway us one way or the other

Sharri Bridals – Utah Bridal Photographer

So many more picture posts coming up I can’t wait to share all the things I’ve been photographing lately. Here are some bridal portraits that I shot of Sharri a couple weeks back shot in Salt Lake City, Utah. I had never met Sharri prior to doing her bridals as she is from Washington DC and was a referral from past clients Abby and Matt who were married in the Newport Beach California Temple. It was so nice finally putting a face with the emails and Sharri is just as sweet as can be. We shot these bridals two days before her wedding, and we decided to shoot at the Utah State Capitol and Memory Grove, then finishing up at the Salt Lake City Library. I can’t wait to share the wedding photos which will be coming up in a day or two. Here is just a small sampling of my favorites from the session.

Whitney and Josh Groomals

I’ve been waiting a long time to post this and now that Whitney and Josh are married, I can now finally post these. We shot these last month at the Utah State Capitol as well as the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Thanks to Kirstin for coming along and helping me out with this session. Richelle and Bryan Groomals . Utah Wedding Photographer

Last week I shot Groomals Bridals for Richelle and Bryan with some assistance from my friend Kirstin. I love shooting at Saltair and the day of this session was no exception. It was absolutely gorgeous. I love working with Richelle and Bryan because not only can they pull off the “Blue Steels” and “Magnums” but they also have that spark for each other which allows them to have fun and laugh together, giving me the ultimate photographing experience. Hailey Bridal Session – Utah Wedding Photographer

Here is a killer fun session I shot of Hailey a few days ago. My lovely wife Tiffany got to come along to help out and after the session we went out to dinner with Hailey and Nic at the Training Table and feasted on the most delicious cheese fries I am so excited for the wedding at the end of this month Some of my favorites are when I had Hailey do the funny faces and jump in her dress.

Callie Bridal Session – Utah Wedding Photographer

Last week I shot some last minute bridals for Callie before her wedding this Friday at the Salt Lake City Temple and Salt Lake City Country Club. Her dress was amazing and I loved the decor of the Country Club. Thanks to my cousin Stacey for coming along last minute to help out with lighting, I couldn’t have done it without her. So a couple of weeks ago, I shot some groomals for Emily and Matt at This Is The Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City. I loved the change of scenery and have always loved shooting in country type settings.
