Allie and Robert Engagements . Salt Lake City Utah Library

So on Tuesday I had the great pleasure of shooting an engagement session at the Salt Lake City Utah Downtown Library for Allie and Robert. Allie is great friends with one of my past brides Whitney whose wedding I shot up in Logan at the Riter Mansion. Allie works for Studio Bliss at Image Studios and does amazing lash work, so if any of you ladies out there are looking for some awesome lash extensions hit her up allie.studiobliss@gmail.com wink wink. Robert works for a BMW dealer and sells Beamers, you guys should’ve seen his sweet red BMW that he drives around. Since it was so cold outside, we started out inside the library then took a couple more outdoor shots at the city and county building, then finished off up at the Utah State Capitol. I would honestly have to say that engagement photography is one of my favorite parts of my job. It’s when you get to first really know your couple and spend time together. They are so fun to shoot. When Kiley and Jason wanted their engagement photography done at the Ferris Wheel at Liberty Park, I was so excited as I’ve never shot there. It was so much fun and I can’t wait for the chance to shoot there again.

Say hello to Ana and Matt. I was so excited when Ana and Matt booked me at the Grand America Bridal show and told me their wedding was gonna be held at La Caille. You guys are in for a treat when I post their wedding pictures. Ana had the most amazing Vera Wang dress and the whole event was stunning. It seems like just yesterday that I was shooting a senior photography session for Jackie, and now she is getting married to a most awesome guy named Brent We shot at various locations in Urban downtown Salt Lake City Utah and went for more of a vintage feel since she has a great love for all things vintage. They met at BYU in the singles ward and are getting married in December at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. I can’t wait to shoot bridals next month. Here were some of my favorites from the session.

Wow, has it really been nearly a month since I last blogged? I have been so crazy busy shooting engagements, bridals, and weddings as well as spending all my time editing that I fear the blog has been neglected. I have so many great sessions in store for you guys and I can’t wait to share them on the blog. This has been one of the busiest wedding seasons with the photo booth rentals being added to my normal photography. Here is a session I shot for Bre and Austin at Memory Grove and downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. I’m really loving shooting at Fernwood in Layton, Utah and the Bird Refuge in West Layton as you can see from my previous blog posts and now Britani and Levi’s engagement session. I’ve been so blessed to have such fun and gorgeously photogenic couples to photograph this year. It makes the wedding season that much funner. I really love being a wedding photographer here in Utah. Here are some engagements I shot for Keri and Adam in Layton, Utah. Aren’t they just so photogenic? They wanted a scenic look for their engagement session so we started up at Fernwood in Layton, Utah then headed for a couple of shots in Kaysville before finishing up at the Bird Refuge in West Layton. I just shot their wedding last weekend and can’t wait to get caught up on blogging so you guys can see the great pictures

Here is an engagement session I shot for Stephanie and Jason in Salt Lake City Utah. Stephanie was referred to me by past clients Kat and Tyler who had a beautiful wedding at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple and Cucina Nassi. Stephanie and Jason will be sealed in the Draper Utah LDS Temple and have their reception at Market Street Grill in Cottonwood Heights. It’s going to be beautiful and I can’t wait for it.
