Maci and Curtis Groomals . Utah Wedding Photographer

I shot a groomal session for Maci and Curtis last month in the Utah State Capitol. It was so fun and these guys are so good looking together. As many of you know I am a wedding photographer in Utah, but what you may not know is that once upon a time I wanted to be a teacher. I don’t know what that random trivial fact had to do with this post but I thought I would just throw that out there. After shooting at the Utah State Capitol we headed down to finish the session in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. I’d now like to share some of my favorites from the session with you below….

Carly and Tanner Groomals . Utah Wedding Photographer Red Butte Gardens

Carly and Tanner will be getting married in July at the Red Butte Gardens in Salt Lake City, Utah. I can’t wait to do their wedding photography. I really enjoy being their wedding photographer because every time we shoot together you can just feel the love between them It shows in the pictures too just how much these guys were meant to be together. I loved the yellow tie that Tanner was sporting. We shot the groomals at Red Butte Gardens and it was absolutely gorgeous there. Below are some of my favorites from the session

Hayley and Asher looked smoking hot once again for their groomal session. I loved the vintage feel of Hayley’s wedding dress and Asher’s dashingly handsome suit. We shot at the Salt Lake City Utah Temple since that’s where they will be getting married. The weather was absolutely perfect and my lovely wife Tiffany came along to assist her Utah wedding photographer husband Big thanks also goes out to Sarah for coming along to hold my reflector. Brooke and AJ – Utah Bridal Photographer

I always enjoy getting together to shoot with Brooke and AJ. When she hopped out of the car in her unique and gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown, my jaw dropped. AJ looked smashing as always. They wanted a modern yet vintage feel to their pictures and being a photographer in Utah, you have a nice pick of locations. So we started out at the Utah State Capitol and shot various downtown locations. A special thanks to Jayme of Jayme Kanani Photography for coming along to help hold my reflector and keeping us entertained. As always here are some of my favorite images.

Liz and Cal Groomals – Utah Wedding Photographer

Last Saturday I shot some Groomals for Liz and Cal in Salt Lake City. I am a huge fan of Groomals which as you know is just a Bridal session with the Groom along in his Tuxedo. They really allow the photographer to spend time being creative and will alleviate some of the crazy wedding day pressures and time restraints. We started out shooting at Memory Grove and then finished our session up at Ensign Peak. One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer in Utah is there are so many different locations styles all within one city. You can shoot urban photography downtown then just head over a few blocks and get some nice nature shots. I absolutely loved Liz’s dress which she purchased and flew in from the United Kingdom. I think it has an awesome modern yet vintage look to it and matched our backgrounds perfectly.

Whitney and Josh Groomals

I’ve been waiting a long time to post this and now that Whitney and Josh are married, I can now finally post these. We shot these last month at the Utah State Capitol as well as the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Thanks to Kirstin for coming along and helping me out with this session. More posts coming this week, I promise Also, make sure to come and see us this Saturday at the Grand America Bridal Show in SLC January 2nd. We will be there from 11am-5pm MST.

Richelle and Bryan Groomals . Utah Wedding Photographer

Last week I shot Groomals Bridals for Richelle and Bryan with some assistance from my friend Kirstin. I love shooting at Saltair and the day of this session was no exception. It was absolutely gorgeous. I love working with Richelle and Bryan because not only can they pull off the “Blue Steels” and “Magnums” but they also have that spark for each other which allows them to have fun and laugh together, giving me the ultimate photographing experience. Emily and Matt Groomals – Utah Wedding Photographer

So a couple of weeks ago, I shot some groomals for Emily and Matt at This Is The Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City. I loved the change of scenery and have always loved shooting in country type settings. We had some amazing light going on and were able to capture some really awesome images, but don’t take my word for it, check below for proof. Marianne and Andrew Groomals

Here is a groomal session that I shot for Marianne and Andrew the day before I left to California for a wedding. I absolutely love that they brought the 3 big blue balloons. They were pretty much some of the biggest balloons I’ve ever seen. These guys totally knew how to work the camera. One awesome fact about Marianne and Andrew is they both participate in Triathlons together. How cool is that. Anyways, here are some of my favorites from the session.
