Stephanie and Kristjan Wedding . Utah LDS Temple Wedding Photographer

Stephanie and Kristjan had their wedding a couple months back at the SLC Utah Mormon Temple and held their reception at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. They had originally had their reception planned at the Garden Park Ward but the oil spill put a damper on that idea. Kristjan had been feeling really sick the night before the wedding and spent the morning just before the wedding in the ER, I felt so bad for him, so we decided we would get the family shots done and do a groomal session on a future date since he could barely stand for pictures. So below you will see wedding day pictures as well as the groomal session that we shot later. A special thanks to my best buddy Karly of Karly Kim Photography for coming out and helping me out with shooting and fetching me water when I was parched. A shout out to wedding planner Mara Marian of LMG Events Planning and Design, she did a great job making things happen. Here were a couple of my favorites from the wedding and groomal session. Hayley and Asher Wedding . LDS Utah Temple Wedding Photographer

Guess who’s back, back again, guess who’s back, tell a friend…. I apologize about the long silence on this humble little blog. Hayley and Asher tied the knot this summer at the Salt Lake City Utah Mormon LDS Temple and none other than yours truly was chosen to be the designated Wedding Photographer. My dear buddy and intern Stephanie of Stephanie Patterson Photography was kind enough to assist and second shoot with me. After shooting some of your standard temple shots, we headed to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for their luncheon. After a couple of scheduled toasts and very beautiful speeches the room fell silent as Brad’s sister began sobbing into the microphone as she struggled to express her love towards her big brother and his new found love. Not a dry eye was in the room. Later that night, we drove to Brad’s parents’ home in Park City for the reception. They had the most delicious cupcakes ever, I ate so many that I contracted a sugar coma and don’t really remember what else happened at the reception, so with that, I will say scroll down to view some of my favorites from their wedding

I shot this wedding in Oregon together with my good photographer buddy Stephanie of Stephanie Patterson Photography, It was pretty, see the video below for documented proof. I covertly shot video clips without Nikita and Josh knowing about it, I am sneaky sneaky, so they had no idea about this video. It was held at Beckenridge Vineyard in Dallas Oregon. Tiffany and Jorden . Manti Utah LDS Temple Wedding Photography

Tiffany and Jorden were sealed in the Manti Utah LDS Temple in May and I was lucky enough to be their wedding photographer My awesome intern Stephanie of Stephanie Patterson Photography came along to second shoot. It was an absolutely gorgeous day as the sun shone down from the skies above. A slight breeze blew from the north west that added a light chill that brought goosebumps to ones skin although it was still warm enough to melt any chocolate that one might have left in their vehicles. Speaking of chocolate, we had a slight wait for them to come out of the temple, so we stopped by a little candy shop, and in case curiosity gets the best of you and you are tempted to try a beef jerky cluster (chocolate covered beef jerky), I speak from personal experience when I say you aren’t missing anything if you decide not to try it

The temple shots went very well. When I say they went well, that pretty much means I didn’t do anything to embarrass myself too bad and I didn’t trip over my shoe laces, although some might say my tie tying skills would be the prime example of embarrassing. After getting some killer shots in Manti, we headed up to the reception.

The reception was just as cool as the slight breeze that blew through the air in Manti. Decorated with the most lovely flowers with colors as bright as the brightest rainbow. As the slight breeze blew past the flowers, the scents would catch your nose ever so slightly, but soon the breeze turned strong and began to blow over the centerpieces. The thing I loved most though is that this unfortunate turn of events didn’t put a damper on Tiffany and Jorden’s spirits. These two are so in love and have such happy personalities that they were able to focus solely on their love and not let the crashing of centerpieces take away from that moment.

One of the highlights of the night (besides the 20 italian sodas of which I partook) was the fireworks immediately following the cake cutting. What better way to symbolize the way these two felt for each other. As the sparkly balls of fire lit up the night, I equated the red bursts as the passion they share, the blue bursts as the solemn and tranquil moments they will share together, and the colorful green bursts as tall redwood trees and the long life they will spend with each other. Tiffany and Jorden, thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer and allowing me to document this most special day in your lives.

Breanna and Austin Wedding . San Deigo LDS Temple Wedding Photography

So last month I had the pleasure of flying out to San Diego California to do some wedding photography for Breanna and Austin at the San Diego LDS Temple. I was totally bummed because after all the years that I’ve wanted to shoot at the temple, it was under construction and had scaffolding around most of the temple. Despite that minor set back, it was a beautiful day and I had a beautiful couple to photograph. After shooting at the temple, we headed down to the reception which was held on a cruise boat in the San Diego harbor. It was a beautiful reception and I’m so glad I was chosen to be their wedding photographer. Congratulations Breanna and Austin. Here were some of my favorites from the day…..

Brooke and AJ Wedding . Utah Wedding Photographer

Brooke and AJ were married in the Salt Lake City Utah LDS Temple and I was so glad I got to be there as their wedding photographer. I had to fly out the next day to shoot Breanna and Austin’s wedding in San Diego, California (post coming soon). So my very good friend and talented Utah wedding photographer Jordan of Jordan Carli Photography covered the reception for me. I apologize about not posting often on the blog lately, I have been so busy with weddings, engagements, bridals, and other photography, so stay tuned because a ton of posts will be hitting the blog over the next couple weeks

Liz and Cal Wedding . Salt Lake City Utah LDS Temple Photography

Liz and Cal got married this month in the Salt Lake City Utah Mormon Temple and what a gorgeous day it was for photography. My bestest buddy Amanda of Amanda Abel Photography came along to second shoot, so I owe her a big thanks Liz was a bridesmaid in Alyssa and Mike’s wedding, so it was nice to see Alyssa and Mike again Liz’s dress was absolutely stunning and had an awesome vintage yet modern look to it. She ordered it from the UK and flew it over to the United States. It was nice to finally meet both of their families. After getting all the shots we wanted at the temple and around town, we headed to the reception in Layton at The Castle. It was absolutely gorgeous and they hired a string quartet to play during the ceremony and reception. I love live music. Sharri and Ryan Wedding – Draper Utah Temple Weddings

Sharri and Ryan were married in the Draper Utah Temple and chose me to be their wedding photographer. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for photography and I was so excited to finally meet Ryan. I was assisted all day by my good friend Jordan of Jordan Carli Photography who helped me capture some awesome candid shots. After the temple we headed to the Oakridge Country Club for the reception. It was my first time shooting there and I was very impressed at how beautiful of a reception center it was. It had the most beautiful scenic background of the mountains. Thanks so much Abby and Matt for referring Sharri and Ryan to me here were some of my favorites from the day.

Richelle and Bryan Wedding Album

I had such an awesome time designing this wedding album for Richelle and Bryan’s wedding that was held here in Utah, that I just had to share. This album was designed using my InDesign wedding album templates sold HERE. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City Mormon Temple and then had their reception at the Springville Art Museum .

Heather and Josiah Wedding – Utah Wedding Photography

A few weeks ago I headed to Hollady, Utah to photograph for the wedding of Heather and Josiah. Heather is the third sister whose wedding I have shot in their family. I shot her two other sisters Cathy and Jenny a couple years back so I was so excited when I heard Heather was getting married and they wanted to use my photography services again I guess that makes me the official family photographer It was so nice seeing everyone again and it was such a beautiful ceremony. I had only met Josiah during the booking consultation a few months back and we unfortunately didn’t shoot any engagement pictures. As I was shooting Josiah getting ready, I immediately hit it off with him and fell in love with his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle T-Shirt, I mean who doesn’t love those totally gnarley and bodacious mutant ninjas I asked Josiah if he was nervous for the wedding and he said he was actually at peace and so excited. He then shared a very personal story of when he was a teenager and I was impressed that he opened up to me, it felt like we were life long friends. I am so blessed to have the best clients ever and to forge these awesome connections and friendships. Thanks so much for including me in your awesome day and once again making me feel like part of the family. Here were some of my favorite shots from the day.
