I’ve been so excited to share these bridals portraits I recently shot for Liz out at The Great Saltair in Utah. Liz wanted some great sunset shots so we endured the yucky bugs and yucky water of the great salt lake. Now that Liz got married this past weekend I’m finally able to share these with you Here were some of my favorites from the session.

Rachael and Tyler Maternity Session, Layton Utah

I always love when I get to shoot maternity sessions so I was glad when my good friend Rachael asked me to photograph hers. I loved the lone tree in the open field that we used for the first location, it was so dreamy and romantic and the weather was perfect for our session. After shooting at the tree, we all headed to main street in Layton to shoot the white brick wall and ended up in West Layton Utah for some yummy light at the abandoned house. Here were some of my favorites from the session.

Micia and Seth Engagements . Utah Snow Session

Here is a recent engagement photography session I did for Micia and Seth up at Sundance Ski Resort in Utah. We had so much fun despite the cold. Our last location had snow so deep it went up to our knees when we were walking through it. I love that someone even had already built a snowman that we of course had to use as a prop Here are some of my favorites from the session.

Laura and Brent Engagements . Memory Grove Park Salt Lake City, Utah

Laura and Brent are so adorable and I enjoyed getting to know them as I was shooting their engagements at Memory Grove Park in Salt Lake City, Utah and the Utah State Capitol. Brent was changing oil and fixing Laura’s car when they were dating and he called for her to come to the car. When she got there he rolled from under the car with oil on his face and was saying a piece of metal fell out from her car and then presented her to the ring. I absolutely loved hearing their proposal story, it was so sweet. These two just beam with love for each other and I’m so glad I got to be their wedding photographer. Allie and Robert Wedding – This Is The Place Salt Lake City Utah

Allie and Robert were married at This Is The Place in the Garden Place at Heritage Park in Salt Lake City Utah. Now that Allie’s wedding is over I can FINALLY post these I absolutely loved Allie’s wedding dress and love the lighting I was able to achieve inside the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake City, Utah. A big shout out to my intern Brooke who came along and helped me on the session, you are the best

Allie and Robert Engagements . Salt Lake City Utah Library

So on Tuesday I had the great pleasure of shooting an engagement session at the Salt Lake City Utah Downtown Library for Allie and Robert. Allie is great friends with one of my past brides Whitney whose wedding I shot up in Logan at the Riter Mansion. Allie works for Studio Bliss at Image Studios and does amazing lash work, so if any of you ladies out there are looking for some awesome lash extensions hit her up allie.studiobliss@gmail.com wink wink. Robert works for a BMW dealer and sells Beamers, you guys should’ve seen his sweet red BMW that he drives around. Since it was so cold outside, we started out inside the library then took a couple more outdoor shots at the city and county building, then finished off up at the Utah State Capitol. I would honestly have to say that engagement photography is one of my favorite parts of my job. It’s when you get to first really know your couple and spend time together. They are so fun to shoot. Anyways, here are some of my favorites from the session.
