As many of you know I am training for a marathon with the Team In Training to raise money for the LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) which will go towards helping stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.
I have committed to personally raising $4800 and will be holding a fundraiser yard sale at my house this Saturday. I’m located at 731 East 425 South in Layton. I plan on running it from 8AM-3PM. Everything that is sold will 100% be donated toward my fundraising goal.
I passed flyers around my neighborhood asking for donations of household items/clothes/misc that I could sale to raise funds and there are a few people dropping some stuff off but we need more
If you live in the Davis County area and have anything that you might’ve been dropping off to the D.I. already or just have some clutter that you’d like to get rid of, please text me your address (801.589.6292) and I can come and pick it up over the next couple days and will price them to sale at the yard sale.
Anything that doesn’t sell will be donated to D.I. on Monday morning.
Also feel free to pass the word on to family and friends who might be out yard saling this weekend to stop on by and support a great cause. I will be doing another yard sale in June if you aren’t able to get involved with this one.
