My absolute favorite time of year is Fall, a.k.a. Autumn. It is the time of year I met and fell in love with my wife (almost 11 years ago this Saturday). The tempatures start to cool down and the sweaters/long sleeve shirts come out. Hot Cocoa and Snuggling comes to mind. Most of all though, the mountains and trees in Utah are painted with the most beautiful colors I have ever seen. Driving through the canyon and viewing the colors is so breath taking and my camera did nothing to the true justice of it’s beauty. It invokes in me the new feelings of love that Tiffany and I discovered many years ago and renders our love anew. Every fall is like a renewal of our love. I never really have time to head up to the mountains to photograph the colors and every year I regret it, so this year since I was up shooting some pictures for East Canyon Resort’s new brochure, I figured I’d finally stop and take some photos for myself.

Amy Jo - Autumn.. for all the reasons you stated. I love the color. I think it is the greatest gift that before the blah of winter we get this amazing flash of brilliant colors on the trees. Sweaters and hot cocoa, slippers and baking all come to mind, and I love it all!

Christina Mack - This is my favorite season too! Last year Chris and I went on a drive around the backside of Timpanogos by Sundance and that is the first time we ever held hands and it was the beginning of an amazing relationship-and now we’re married! Tomorrow marks that 1 year from that drive and hand holding, and I love it! We took a drive this year again to see those same beautiful orange, red and yellow trees and to remember the good times we’ve had.
