So my bestest intern Whitney contacted me months ago about this idea to secretly do a video of her boyfriend Nic and his boys for a fathers day present, so we set up a “Mentoring” session where I brought my cameras and taught her some stuff about shooting while I would secretly do video clips. Talk about challenging
We set up the session and had a good time shooting Nic and his two adorable little boys Quinn and Hayden. Nic became suspicious toward the end of the session as I’m running around with my camera lol and he kept saying taking video instead of pictures, but me and Whitney denied it. Well I must say it’s so hard to set up video shots and video without letting the subject in on that, but I think for being covert we did ok. This is a short one but cute none the less.

Jon - Very cool Dustin! I enjoyed the video and then I read how you did it all under cover and now it’s even that much more amazing to me. Definitely adds a different dimension of shooting I bet. You did a great job. My wife and I have always LOVED your photography since we met you at Charlotte and Seth’s wedding in DC. Keep the videos coming!
