Night Shooting Workshop – Shannon and Jess

On 9/16/09 I held another Night Shooting Workshop in Salt Lake City. During the workshop I taught different lighting techniques such as dragging the shutter, off camera lighting with speedlites, painting with light, and dramatic video lighting. It was an awesome turn out and we had some smoking hot models:)I plan on scheduling more of these workshops in the springtime. I wasn’t able to shoot much, but here were some of my favorite images from the session. Thanks again to Shannon and her fiance Jess for volunteering and being such awesome models. Also thanks to Rachael for coming along and helping with the lighting:)

These photos are amazing! I’m so used to just using natural light…I’d LOVE to know when your next workshop is so I can learn all these awesome tricks! And the new blog looks great.

Dustin, this session is H.O.T.T. The techniques you used are fantabulous, and the couple is just plain ol’ sexy! Shannon’s facial expression in the first one is so fabulously fierce!
