Becky saved my life…..

well almost saved my life. This black Friday Tiffany and I hung out at Walmart from 12 midnight til 5 AM when their doorbuster sale started. Tiffany was hovering over a can of playdough and I was hovering around the dvd bins waiting to grab up a handful of the $2 DVD’s they offered. Well around 4:30 AM the McDonald’s man was walking around the corner with a bag full of burritos and was asking if anyone “wanted” a burrito. I was hungry so said I wanted one, he came over and pulled out a breakfast burrito and handed it to me, after the burrito was in my hands I realized it must not be free as he was sitting staring at me with a handful of bills in his other hand. I didn’t have the $1 in cash required to pay for the burrito and started to fell really stupid when Becky (whom I had been making small talk with) came to my rescue and paid the $1 for me. She saved me from total embarrassment and I felt indebted to her, so I gave her my business card and told her I would shoot her family pictures for saving me from embarrassment and as a thank you.:)Her little daughter Payton is so darn adorable and behaved very well for the pictures. Here were a couple of my favorites.

Date night with the Johnsons

So a few weeks back, the Izatt’s (Tiffany and Dustin) and the Johnson’s (Leslie and Tavis) went out for a most radical double date. When Tiffany and I dated in high school, we used to do the coolest things like going to haunted houses, going on hikes, the zoo, and many other fun and creative dates, but it seems since we got married, our dates usually consist of dinner and a movie. So Tavis and I stepped up our game by taking our ladies laser tagging, out to some fine dining at Jimmy Johns’ subs, and then a few hours at the local nickelcade:)I don’t remember the last time I had that much fun. Laser tagging is my new passion, lol. At first it was just the four of us alone in the laser tag arena, and then for our second game, we got to play with 20 little kids running around. We got dominated by them, lol. Anyways, thanks to Tavis for bringing along his camera and snapping some photos:)We even ran into some of my clients Addie and Travis who just got married on the 2nd. I even caught a little video of Tavis in action at the nickelcade throwing some mean punches.

Tawsha and Justin HAUT session in SLC

Some of you may recall Tawsha:)I met Tawsha in March of 2007 when we shot a trash the dress session in SLC. Not too long after that, Tawsha started doing wedding photography and is now owner of The Color Blue Photography right here in Utah. So when she talked about hiring me to do some photos with her husband Justin, I was a little nervous, I always get scared shooting other photographers, lol. Anyways, I am so glad I agreed to shoot for these guys because they could work the camera like no one’s business. We had an absolute blast shooting and I hope they love these pictures as much as I do.
