Tiffany and I are headed to Park City for the weekendWe met October 3rd 1998 and went out on our first real date October 10th 1998, so as dorky as this may sound, we are celebrating our 10 year anniversaryFor our first date, we went down to Park City and went to the Haunted Silver Mines they used to do, and we have went to Park City every year in October since then. It was nice and chilly 10 years ago and we were snuggled up together in line kissing up a storm, people would ask if we just met lol, and I hope this year we can get some more of those questionsI can’t believe that 10 years has past since I met the girl of my dreams. If you want the full story you can go to my wedding website and read my bio, but here is a picture of us the very night we met. We were both going out to high school dances with other friends and she was at a mutual friends house I went to visit. She said since we were both dressed up, we should pose for a picture. She still takes my breath away today as much as she did 10 years ago. Thanks for 10 of the best years of my life TiffanyI love you so much.
I always have such a hard time writing for these blog posts because every single one of my couples are the most awesome couples ever and my most favorite couple ever, but how original would that sound if in every post I bragged about how that particular couple was my most favorite? Rebecca and Jeff got married 10.04.2008 at Millcreek Inn and they are the most awesome couple everI always love when during the ceremony, the groom cries when he sees the bride walking up the aisle for the first time. When that happens, it’s like automatic waterflow and my vision becomes blurry. I thank my lucky stars in that moment for the wonder known as autofocusBoth Rebecca and Jeff’s families were so awesome and everyone knew how to party. Congratulations Rebecca and Jeff and thanks for a most awesome night.
I always love a Monique Lhuillier Wedding Dress
Robyn and Aaron got married at the Bountiful Temple last week. Robyn’s mom Tracey is my dad’s cousin, so that makes us relatedI had a hoot hollerin’ good time shooting the wedding. Robyn and Aaron both are the sweetest people ever, sweeter than the infamous Willy Wonka Everlasting Gobstopper. They are so in love too, the way they look at each other is most likely the reason for global warming, but that’s just my theory. Just look at the emotion in these photos, deep sincere looks of love and quirky shots full of laughter and personality. I am so glad that Robyn and Aaron chose me to be a part of their most spectacular day. Congratulations guys
So after staying up all night after Abby and Matt’s wedding in Newport Beach, California, I boarded the plane at 6:30 AM for a short flight back to Utah for Stevie and Nick’s wedding. I was slightly tired after shooting all day the previous day and Stevie told me to take a nap and miss the getting ready shots, but I was a little too excited for this day and disobeyed herShanda came along to second shoot at the wedding and we had such a great time. We started the day at Phazes beauty salon in Kaysville and then headed to Memory Grove in Salt Lake City for all the action. Stevie once again looked stunning and Nick as handsome as ever. It was nice seeing all of Nick’s family again, and even nicer to finally meet Stevie’s family. The ceremony was supposed to be held outside, but it ended up raining most of the night. It’s good luck when it rains on your wedding day though and the rain didn’t damper Stevie’s spirit, she was a total trooper. Congratulations Stevie and Nick
