Ali and Nick Engagements

I can’t tell you how nice it is having my brand new Mac computer:)Now I can finally keep up on my blogging and post production. So once again, I thank you guys for all your patience and to my clients who have been waiting to see their pictures. Here is an engagement session I shot for Ali and Nick. Nick has to be one of the coolest grooms ever. The whole shoot he never complained and was a perfect gentleman. We were hiking looking for different places to shoot and Nick would run ahead up the trail so we wouldn’t have to in order to see if the spots were good. He helped carry my big ol’ heavy camera bag. Nick is trying out for the PGA tour and is a very talented golfer. He is so talented that he has made two hole in ones:)I told him that I once made a hole in one at mini golf, lol, but somehow that’s not as impressive:PI hope he makes it in the PGA. These guys are so cute together and I enjoyed hearing how they met and had their very first date on the same day;)

Tara and Scott Groomals

So last night, I had the honor of shooting groomals for Tara and Scott. Their wedding is coming up on 10/24 which is in 5 days, so I had to immediately finish the post production on these so they could get some prints done up for the wedding. We had intended to start the session with some shots in the Beehive Tearoom, but we were sadly turned away because bridals are not allowed on Saturdays. So I was a little worried that would’ve ruined the momentum of the shoot, but things only went up from there. As I was shooting them sitting on the Trax in the first shot seen, a worker for the Off Broadway Theater came up and said we were more than welcome to shoot in the empty theater. Awesome, I had always wanted some theater shots and as we were finishing up, she gave us both a set of comp tickets for a free show. How awesome was that. Then as we were walking down the street, one of the street folk stopped us to congratulate Tara and Scott and began serenading them by singing love songs. It was pretty funny and sweet. Lambs Grill then welcomed us in their cafe for some diner shots. Anyways, it was so hard to narrow my favorites down, but I will let the photos speak for themselves. How did I do?

Park City or Bust – Be back on Monday

Tiffany and I are headed to Park City for the weekend:)We met October 3rd 1998 and went out on our first real date October 10th 1998, so as dorky as this may sound, we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary:)For our first date, we went down to Park City and went to the Haunted Silver Mines they used to do, and we have went to Park City every year in October since then. It was nice and chilly 10 years ago and we were snuggled up together in line kissing up a storm, people would ask if we just met lol, and I hope this year we can get some more of those questions;)I can’t believe that 10 years has past since I met the girl of my dreams. If you want the full story you can go to my wedding website and read my bio, but here is a picture of us the very night we met. We were both going out to high school dances with other friends and she was at a mutual friends house I went to visit. She said since we were both dressed up, we should pose for a picture. She still takes my breath away today as much as she did 10 years ago. Thanks for 10 of the best years of my life Tiffany:)I love you so much.
