Oh my goodness I am besides my self with excitement. This is the sale that I look forward to of the year! What a great way to end the year also?? We have had several brides choose their dresses from this exquisite Bridal Shop and they go above and beyond customer service. To preface this I would like to say that we have not shot any of these images they are linked to the source where the image was found. These are images that I have found and fallen in love with and I hope that you enjoy. I wanted to have a few things here and there that aren’t wedding photos that we have shot. So I want to share with you some items that I have spotted on Pinterest and just fallen in love with. From time to time I will add to this category so that maybe it will help inspire you if you are planning a wedding.

I love this walk way first of all because it is fall time and that is when I met Dustin and it is always a good time to remember

Jones Family Session

A few years ago we met with an amazing couple Hailey and Nic to shoot their wedding and in those few years we have become awesome friends. We have now shot their adorable baby Ruby. And now we had the opportunity to shoot their extended family and these turned out awesome! I love seeing clients change and grow with their families.

Brooke and AJ were married in the Salt Lake City Utah LDS Temple and I was so glad I got to be there as their wedding photographer. I had to fly out the next day to shoot Breanna and Austin’s wedding in San Diego, California (post coming soon). So my very good friend and talented Utah wedding photographer Jordan of Jordan Carli Photography covered the reception for me. I apologize about not posting often on the blog lately, I have been so busy with weddings, engagements, bridals, and other photography, so stay tuned because a ton of posts will be hitting the blog over the next couple weeks

Susan and Rob Engagements . Salt Lake City Utah Engagement Photography Session Memory Grove

Meet Susan and Rob. They met through an online dating site back in 2007 and the rest is history Susan has some of the most awesome green eyes I’ve seen and these guys are so cute together. I was so glad they chose me to be their engagement photographer and know they will have an awesome wedding here in Utah coming up. They chose to have their engagement photography done at Memory Grove Park in Salt Lake City SLC Utah. I love that they were so comfortable with each other and I could tell while shooting how much Rob cares for Susan. Special thanks to Kristi Reutzel from Logan for coming down to assist with the session, without her mad reflecting skills I don’t know how I would’ve done it. Maci and Curtis Engagements – Salt Lake City Utah

Meet Maci and Curtis. They met in June of 2007 through a friend. Some of their favorite activities include movies, hot tubbing, yogurt, redbox, jazz games, and double dating. I loved their choice in outfits and their choice in a Utah wedding photographer… me haha. Maci wanted a vintage feel to the engagement photos, so we shot around downtown Salt Lake City. I must pause for a moment and give a shout out to my new buddy Ashlee Brooke Carroll (or as I call her ABC) for tagging along and holding my wicked huge reflector. OK, not sure if anyone really ever reads what I write anyways… so enough Jibba Jabba and onto the pictures….

Hayley and Asher Engagements – Park City Utah Engagement Photography Session

Meet Hayley and Asher. They met November of 2009 through Asher’s roommate’s ex-girlfriend As I was shooting, I had the strange feeling that I had seen Asher somewhere else before so I asked him if anyone has ever told him that he looks like Brad Pitt? A couple of the pictures below I can totally see the resemblance. I was so glad when Hayley and Asher told me they wanted their engagement photography done in Park City Utah. It’s so beautiful up there and as a wedding photographer in Utah you couldn’t ask for better locations. I love the vintage feel of the old barn and the historic main street scene. After shooting around the town, we went up to Asher’s house for some final shots and the house was simply amazing. Here were some of my favorite shots from the session.

Addie and Travis Workshop Session . Utah Wedding Photography Workshop

So a little over a week ago, I hosted another full day Utah wedding photography workshop for photographers in Layton. I had an awesome bunch of photographers attend this workshop and it was a riot hanging out with these ladies. We had the following attendees (two of which were pregnant, read on below, haha)

I have to tell you how awesome it was walking into Olive Garden for lunch with the ladies, two of them being pregnant, haha. We joked with the waitress about me being a polygamist and Leah was bantering quite a bit to which the waitress replied “you need to beat this one more” Funniest thing ever. Our whole day not only consisted of shooting and learning, but tons of laughter and friendship

Our models were my ever so hot and ever so perfect for each other clients. Addie and Travis were married 12.2.2008 and I shot their wedding photography so I was so excited to see and work together with them again. A special thanks to Leah Miller of Leah Miller Photography for coming along to help hold my reflector I couldn’t have done it without ya.

Ewan and Gabby . Utah Children Photographer

So a couple days ago, my good friend that I’ve known for years, Stephen, brought over his newborn Ewan to my studio in Layton Utah for some photography. His little son Ewan is SO adorable and Gabby is such a cute big sister to Ewan. It’s been years since I have shot newborns and I forgot about the whole peeing when they are naked thing, lol. Needless to say my black muslin is in the wash right now and it was a total adventure. I have a great respect for newborn photographers, it takes a great deal of patience and posing newborns is definitely more challenging than posing brides and grooms on the wedding day, but babies are so precious. Here were a couple of my favorites from the session.

Nichole and Trent Engagements . Salt Lake City Engagement Photography

Meet Nichole and Trent. Nichole is Megan’s little sister and I was so glad when Nichole called me to do their wedding. She said I did such a killer job on her sister’s wedding and the images were so awesome they didn’t even need to look at anyone else for photography. Talk about a compliment Nichole and Trent met back in June of 2003. Nichole was working at the Gateway Mall for Lucky and Trent worked for Abercrombie and Fitch. Trent would always come into Lucky and talk to Nichole. They love to travel and have already been to some awesome places such as Jamaica, Cabo, Costa Maya Mexico, Caymen, Key West, Disneyland, Moab, and Zions. I was so excited to finally shoot their engagement photography in downtown Salt Lake City Utah. Their outfits were killer and they were so fun to shoot. Both Nichole and Trent are so laid back and genuine and not to mention very super modelesque I just made up that word and here are the pictures to prove it…..
